The LLZ 90-Day Journey fitness program includes private small group workouts or one-on-one personal training, you choose! Workouts include a combination of endurance, resistance, mobility, and balance exercises designed to improve stamina, strength, and overall health. These exercises will help participants combat the aging process, avoid injury and prevent falls that plague so many older people. All exercises are modified to each individual’s starting point taking into consideration prior injuries or movement limitations. Our programs were inspired by the results of clinical studies on exercise and aging performed and published by the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, The Institute of Exercise & Environmental Medicine, and Harvard Medical School. We’ve spent over ten years building, testing and improving our programs!

RESISTANCE EXERCISE or training with weights, will increase lean muscle mass and reduce body fat. When following your exercise prescription, you will quickly see improvement in strength and, over time, diagnostic tests will show improvement in bone calcium levels and bone density. FLEXIBILITY & BALANCE exercises will provide a wide range of physical benefits and play a key role in your overall wellbeing. You will build a stable and flexible body core to better support endurance and resistance training. With improved strength and flexibility your balance will improve reducing your risk of injury. Flexibility stretching lengthens and opens muscles making them less tense, subsequently reducing aches, pains and muscle cramps. As a bonus, most participants notice a significant improvement in posture and day-to-day movements that become more difficult as we age.

ENDURANCE & RECOVERY workouts are performed at a steady and low-intensity level. Daily recovery is essential in stimulating the body to reset, recharge, and heal. Your fitness prescription will include a combination of walking, biking, swimming, or maybe even golf (without the cart!) on the days you are not performing a 20-minute LLZ TRANSFORM-in-12 workout.
